8th Annual Dog Day at the Park was WOOFTASTIC!

The Oakland Athletics' 8th Annual Dog Day at the Park was pawsitively wooftastic! This was my second time attending the event. I had so much fun last year that my brother Solo and his girl friend Jun had to join in the tail wagging fun this year. We made sure we arrived at the Oakland Colosseum early to beat the Friday evening traffic, avoid long check in lines, get our doggie swag, and find front row seats for the Pup Rally.

Me, Solo, and Solo's girlfriend Jun at the pup rally
Every dog received a complementary Oakland A's bandana when checking in. We had to sport our bandana right away. We love the Oakland Athletics and the dog friendly the staff, Oakland Colosseum, and team members are. Even the A's mascot Stomper came by to see all of us pups.

We like seeing Stomper on stage
All of the humans received special Dog Day at the Park hats too. They look really pawesome because they were shaped like bones.

Grandma and Solo - It was their first time
The walk around the field was really fun. Solo, Jun, and I strutted our stuff all the way around the field. This is my favorite part of the game because I like to walk on the field while the Oakland Athletics fans cheer us on.

Our view from our seats.
We loved watching the game too. We had a great view of the field. Solo loved looking down on the field. I think he wanted to play with the ball.

After the 7th inning stretch, I saw Solo and mommy on the jumbo screen. It was cool seeing my little brother projected on the big screen. He was dancing to the song Gangnam Style and had fun showing off his dancing moves on the big screen.

We loved having our own seats too.
By the end of the 8th inning Solo and I were fast asleep. We wanted to pawty like rock pups but our little eye could not stay open any longer.

passed out by the 8th inning
We cannot wait for next year's event. We want to bring even more friends to the game and hopefully take a picture with Stomper. Go A's, woof woof!

Keep wandering.
